Authorization Check: Enhancements and Changes

Description

The authorization check in the Project System was enhanced as follows in Release 3.0.

• The action Enter actual dates was included in the following authorization objects:

• C_PRPS_VNR,,Person in charge of project for WBS elements

• C_PRPS_USR,,User-defined fields for WBS elements

• C_PRPS_PRC,,Profit centers for WBS elements

• C_PRPS_KST,,Cost centers for WBS elements

• C_PRPS_KOK,,Controlling area for WBS elements

• C_PRPS_ART,,Text types for WBS elements

The following authorization objects are available with Release 3.0:

• Authorization object, C_AFRU_APL, is now available for confirmations.

You can use the authorization object to specify whether users can enter, display, or cancel confirmations for a work center in a certain plant.

• Using report RCNAUTCD, you can now create a list of all Project System transactions with transaction-specific authorization checks.
