New Functions in Release 3.0 in the Project System

Description

With Release 3.0, the following functions are available for the first time:

• Milestones and standard milestones

• Standard work breakdown structures

• Subnetworks

• Project versions

• Project planning board

• Earned value analysis

• Project execution with sales order (PS-SD integration)

• PS-MM Integration for preliminary orders, purchase requisitions, third-party orders and requests for quotation

• PS-PD Integration for confirmations in the Project System

• Configuration interface to the Project System

• PDC interface

• Capacity leveling using planning table

• Common maintenance of WBS elements and activities

• Field selection for (standard) networks, (standard) WBS, and confirmations

• Cash budget management and interest calculation for projects

• Invoicing actual expenditure

• Reports on costs, revenues and finances using EIS technology

• Budget release

• Purchase requisition commitments

• Manual funds reservation (manual commitment)

• Fixed price agreement and fixed price allocation

• Change or copy cost plan versions/revenue plan versions
