Materials in Networks: Changes

Description

In Release 3.1G, the following function was added to networks:

  • Generate planned independent requirements for a network
When you allocate a material component to a network activity, you can decide whether planned independent requirements are to be generated for this component. You must have already maintained the following indicators in the MRP 2 view of the material master:
  • Strategy group: 70 planning at assembly level

  • Mixed MRP: 1 assembly planning

Planned independent requirements are calculated from the actual requirements in the network.
