Network: New Customer Enhancements (User Exits) for Processing Bill of Material Data

Description

In Release 3.1G, you can use the new transaction (CN33) to process bill of material data PS Interface for Engineering Bills of Material.

  • CNEX0014 Transfer external BOM item data
The enhancement contains component EXIT_SAPLCN10_001.
When you access the customer enhancement, the following objects from the current transaction (CN33) are provided:
  • Structure RCNIP01_IMP with data from the initial screen

  • Table TCNRL_IMP with the data for transfer control

  • Empty table STPOX_EXP in which the external BOM item data is transferred in R/3 format during the process

To access the customer enhancement for transferring external data instead of the R/3 bill of material explosion, you must
  • Activate the customer enhancement

  • Press External transfer on the initial screen of the PS Interface for Engineering Bills of Material (transaction CN33)

  • CNEX0015 Process internal BOM item data
The enhancement contains component EXIT_SAPLCN10_002.
When you access the customer enhancement, the following objects from the current transaction (CN33) are provided:
  • Structure RCNIP01_IMP with data from the initial screen

  • Table STPOX_TAB with exploded BOM items. You can edit this table and then send it back to the running process.

To access the customer enhancement for processing BOM items, you must
  • Activate the customer enhancement

  • NOT press External transfer on the initial screen of the PS Interface for Engineering Bills of Material (transaction CN33)

Changes to the Interface

You can carry out the new functions to transfer bill of material data in the transaction PS Interface for Engineering Bills of Material. To do this, from the Project System menu, choose the menu options Operative structures -> Tools -> Interface EBOM/PS
