Changes for the budget structure copier
Description
From Release 4.02A Funds Management, there are functional changes for
copying budget structures. There are now two different copy programs available to you:
BS copier for converting to year-dependent master data maintenance
You use the copy program BPCARRY02, to change the BS master data maintenance from year-dependency to non-year-dependency. Transfers of commitment item groups are not supported here.
You start the copy program BPCARRY02 in Customizing under
Master data -> Basic data -> Budget structure -> Conversion to year- dependency in the step Copy BS.

BS copier for the year-change
You use the copy program BPCARRY01, to transfer the budget structure for each fund into a target year e.g. the following target year. You can use the program both for the year-dependent and for the non-year-dependent BS maintenance. The transfer of commitment item groups is partially supported. In this way, group assignments are transferred (commitment item groups to funds center) for a year- dependent master data maintenance; you must have created the commitment item groups previously in the target year.
You start the copy program BPCARRY01 in the master data maintenance of Funds Management menu under Master data -> Budget structure -> Transfer from previous year.
