New Master Data Functions: Change Existence Interval for Funds Centers

Description

Starting with Release 4.02A, there is a function available for year-dependent funds center maintenance. You can now subsequently change the existence interval of funds centers and adapt them to the requirements of your FM area.

The validity period of funds centers can be adapted to the fiscal year by shortening it or prolonging it. The changes are even executable if the funds centers are already being used in the production system and postings have taken place.

Existence interval changes are carried out in funds center master data maintenance.

Damage caused to data by errors

Before saving an existence interval change, the system checks whether the change causes an inconsistent data status. In such a case, the change would not be allowed by the system.
