BAPIs in the Project System

Description

The following new BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interfaces) are available in Release 4.0A for processing PS objects:

BAPIs for the Business Object Project Definition "BUS2001"

  1. Check whether a project definition exists
BAPI_PROJECTDEF_EXISTENCECHECK
This BAPI is assigned to the "ExistenceCheck" method.
  1. Detailed information about a project definition
BAPI_PROJECTDEF_GETDETAIL
This BAPI is assigned to the "GetDetail" method.
  1. Creating a project definition
BAPI_PROJECTDEF_CREATE
This BAPI is assigned to the "Create" method.
  1. Changing a project definition
BAPI_PROJECTDEF_UPDATE
This BAPI is assigned to the "Update" method.

BAPIs for the Business Object Work Breakdown Structure "BUS2054"

  1. Detailed information about project definitions and WBS elements for particular projects
BAPI_PROJECT_GETINFO
This BAPI is assigned to the "GetInfo" method.
  1. Integrated maintenance of projects
BAPI_PROJECT_MAINTAIN
This BAPI is assigned to the "Maintain" method.
With this method you can maintain project definitions, WBS elements, network headers, network activities and relationships.

BAPIs for the Business Object Network "BUS2002"

  1. Check whether a Network exists
BAPI_NETWORK_EXISTENCECHECK
This BAPI is assigned to the "ExistenceCheck" method
  1. Detailed information about a network and its sub-objects
BAPI_NETWORK_GETDETAIL
This BAPI is assigned to the "GetDetail" method.
  1. Detailed information about networks and their sub-objects
BAPI_NETWORK_GETINFO
This BAPI is assigned to the "GetInfo" method.
  1. Maintenance of a network and its sub-objects
BAPI_NETWORK_MAINTAIN
This BAPI is assigned to the "Maintain" method.
With this method you can
  • Create and change network headers, activities and relationships

  • Delete activities and relationships

  • Save the network.
