Project Key Figures Available in Activity-Based Costing
Description
From Release 4.5A, various key figures, along with allocation times and periods, from the Project System will be available in Activity-Based Costing (ABC).
The key figures affected are as follows:
- Figure showing how many of the following are assigned to a WBS element:
- Subordinate and superior WBS elements
- Network activities
- Orders (available only for calculation actual activity-based costs)
- Sales order items
- Material components managed as project stock
- Documents
- Figure showing how many of the following are assigned to a network activity:
- Material components
- Documents
- Earned value
- Payment data
You can enter selection conditions to restrict the number of objects which go into ABC. For example, you might decide that only internally processed activities in a WBS element or a particular type of material component should be included.
You can use the following allocation times and periods from the Project System to determine the period in which the activity-based costs fall:
- WBS element plan and actual date
- Network activity plan and actual date
- Milestone plan and actual date
