New Fields in Confirmation

Description

As from Release 4.5A you can enter additional data during confirmation:

1. Calculation Motive

You can enter calculation motives, such as "Good will", "Billable" or "50% guarantee case", and so classify the performed activities from a billing point of view.

The calculation motive is copied to the CO line item. Depending on the conditions that are valid for the individual calculation motives, surcharges or discounts can be added or subtracted in resource related billing.

1. Activity Based Costing

As well as Determining activity based costs via key figures, which are based for instance on the number of objects in the project, you can explicitly confirm activities for a business process.

To do so, enter in the confirmation for an activity:

• The desired business process

• The duration/work to be confirmed for the activity for the business process

• If necessary the remaining work you expect to have to do

You can define calculation motives in Customizing the Project System under Revenues and Earnings.
