Flexible Detail Screens for WBS Elements and Network Activities

Description

You can now define your own view of the detail screens for WBS elements and network activities.

In the standard we deliver, each of the detail screens is offered on a tab page. For your own view, you can rearrange the detail screens on the tab pages, place a number of detail screens on one tab page, and have the system show only the tab pages you require.

You can make these settings either in customizing or, on a user-specific basis, in WBS and network maintenance, or in structure planning and in the project planning board.

In the application, you mak the user settings for the layout of the detail screens using the following menu functions:

  • WBS maintenance
Extras -> Settings -> Detailbilder
  • Netzplan-Pflege
Bearbeiten -> Einstellungen -> Layout detail screens
  • Project planning board and structure planning
Settings -> Layout detail screens -> For WBS element or For activity

The changed layout is saved, by user and client, with the specified project profile or network profile.

You can make the following settings:

  • Show/hide tab pages
  • Change tab page titles
  • Combine tab pages on detail screens as you wish
  • Assign icons to the tab page titles

Effects on Customizing

In Project System customizing, choose Operative Structures -> Work Breakdown Structure or Network. Under User Interface Settings, you will find the options Layout for WBS element detail screens or Layout of activity detail screens.

You can integrate detail screens you have defined yourself into the layout if you have so specified with the step Include own detail screens.
