Changes to the IS-PS master data enhancement (accnts payable/rcvbl)

Scope of Functions

The connection of Central Address Administraion (CAA) when maintaining customer and vendor master records has the following effects on the IS-PS master data enhancment from this Release:

• The two fields street and house number are no longer offered by the IS-PS enhancement. These fields are now available in the central address administration. When creating or changing a subledger, the fields KNA1-PSOHS and KNA1-PSOST or LFA1-PSOHS and LFA1-PSOST are therefore no longer filled.
  These fields are now only required on transferring old data with the programs RFBIDEK0 and RFBIKRK0, for filling in the appropriate CAA fields.

• In order to define a description for the customer, you no longer have to branch via the menu. The description can now be entered directly on the address screen if you open the items with the description fields in the group framework Name via the button 'Additional fields.

• The field 'Processor group' no longer applies for the customer. This function is already represented as of Release 402A by the automatic derivation of the processor from the master data record.

• The User Exits (Enhancement SAPMF02D, component EXIT_SAPMF02D_800, development class FBD or enhancement SAPMF02K, component EXIT_SAPMF02K_800, development class FBK) for checks on the adress data no longer apply from this Release. Instead, checks can be defined for the remaining IS-PS-fields via the Business-Transaction-Events 00107050 and 00107051 (Publish/Subscribe-interfaces). You can use the User Exit of the central address administration for checks on street and house number (enhancement SZRS0003, component EXIT_SAPLSZAR_001) or the Business-Add-In ADDRESS_CHECK.

• The programs RFBIDEK0 and RFBIKRK0 for creating customers or vendors per Batch Input can be started straight from the data transfer workbench (SXDA) as of this Release. They are assigned to the appropriate Financial Accounting programs (RFBIDE00 or RFBIKR00).

Effects on Existing Data

When inroducing central address administration, the existing address data is also converted into the tables of the central address administration. The IS-PS fields street and house number or then transferred into the appropriate fields of address administration.
