New function in fund master record

Scope of Functions

Starting from this release, the following new functions are available the processing of the fund master record:

Change to validity interval in fund master record

You previously defined the validity of a fund using a validity interval in the application of funds. The application in funds was a mandatory entry when creating a fund master record.

From now on, you can directly define the validity of a fund in the fund master record. You can also enter an application in funds in the master record, but this entry is now optional.

Assigning and maintaining funds types

In the master record of a fund, you can now give a classification to a fund type. You can define the respective fund types in Customizing.

Fund types are only necessary for certain functions (for example, budget ledger). You can use fund types to evaluate funds in the information system. The fund type is also supported in the logical database LDB F1F and in drilldown reporting; SAP does not distribute a standard program.
