Merging of Implementation Guides for Component Public Sector

Scope of Functions

There were previously two IMGs for the implementation of Component Public Sector.

The Funds Management Government IMG contained the activities that are relevant for all Public Sector customers.

The Funds Management Germany IMG included the activities from the Funds Management Government IMG that are relevant for German local authorities customers as well as the additional activities for these customers.

In this release both IMGs have been merged in the Funds Management Government IMG.

You can however ensure that the project IMG contains the necessary activities for each customer area by selecting the relevant components when generating the project IMG.

If you are a German local authorities customer and wish to generate a project with the relevant functions, you must select the component Special function Government Germany when you are defining the scope of the project. This component ensures that once generated the project IMG contains all activities relevant for German local authorities.

No other customers must select this component, as this will result in necessary activities being missing from the project IMG and other activities that are not necessary being available in the project IMG.
