New functions for the change of fiscal year

Scope of Functions

Request and approval of residual budgets for the budget carryforward

With this release it is possible to request or approve certain amounts for the budget carryforward.

If a residual budget has been approved, this amount is reserved for the budget carryforward and is not available for further expenditure. After the budget carryforward has been executed this reservation is reduced accordingly or completely cleared.

In Customizing of Funds Management Germany it is possible to set the calculation to occur only for the approved amounts.

Requesting and approving residual budgets does not depend on this setting in Customizing.

It is possible to execute the budget carryforward without using the approved amounts. If afterwards, the settings in Customizing are made, so that only the approved amounts are to be carried forward and the budget carryforward is determined again and executed, the program calculates the new amounts to be carried forward and corrects the budget carryforward accordingly.
