Combining the different area menus
Scope of Functions
From this Release, you can shape the control of the menu on the basis of roles. This happens via one or several activity groups which are assigned to the appropriate user. After logging onto the system, these personalized menus then appear to the appropriate user.
The component Public Sector is implemented by different customer groups with different functions which, up to now, could also be reached via special area menus. For this Release, the different area menus have been grouped together in the area menu TCMN. The TCMN menu serves as a common basis for creating activity groups. In addition to the standard functions, it contains all additional functions for the individual customer groups.
In addition to this option of defining allowed entries for the activity group, each customer group gets its own activity group, which covers each relevant menu entry:
- SAP_FI_FM_ALL_DK Germany Administrations
- SAP_FI_FM_ALL_US USA Administrations
- SAP_FI_FM_ALL_EU European Commission
- SAP_FI_FM_ALL_STANDARD All customers who do belong to one of the special customer groups
