BLANK/SPACE Value for Funds (Changed)

Use

Starting from this release, the fund must always have a concrete value. SPACE/BLANK will no longer be accepted by the system as a valid value.

Effects on Existing Data

If you previously used BLANK/SPACE as the value for the fund, you can define an exception for a transition period.

To allow BLANK/SPACE as the value for the fund for an FM area, call transaction SE54. Enter "V_FM01_BLANK" in the Table/View field, then select the Fund field. Take note that when you make this setting in Controlling, no separate allocation or distribution can be defined for the BLANK/SPACE fund. This means that it is not possible to allocate a BLANK fund to another fund. The BLANK fund is only passed on from the sender to the receiver.
