Patch 01: Budgeting Functions (enhanced)

Use

As of this release you can define document types for budget entry documentation.

You can classify the Funds Managements budget entry documents by defining different document types.

As of this release, you can derive additional lines and automatically post in background processing in the transactions create original budget, create supplement and create returns.

The system checks if an FM account assignment can be derived for each line that is entered in the budget entry using a derivation strategy defined in Customizing. If at least one funds center, commitment item and amount from your strategy can be derived, an additional line is inserted after the line entered. This additional line is included in the consistency check and is posted and documented in the entry document.

You have to define document types in the implementation guide Funds Management Government so that you can use different document types for budget entry.

Choose Budgeting and Availability Control US Federal Government -> Define Document Types.

You have to define a derivation strategy in the implementation guide Funds Management Government so that you can derive additional lines for budget entry.

Choose Budgeting and Availability Control -> US Federal Government -> Define Derivation Rules for Additional Account Assignments for Budget Entry. You can find more information in the IMG-Activity Documentation Define Derivation Rules for Additional Account Assignment for Budget Entry.
