Planned Revenues from the Billing Plan and Order Value Update

Description

In the new release, the system only updates planned revenues and planned payments from quotations or sales orders to the project if no billing plan has been maintained for the WBS element. If a billing plan has been maintained for the WBS element, the system updates only the detailed values from the billing plan. Before 4.6A, the values from the sales document assigned to the project were added to the billing plan.

The following logic has been realized for Release 4.6A:

• If a billing plan has been maintained for the billing element, the system updates the planned values from the billing plan.

• If no billing plan has been maintained for the billing element, the system updates the planned values from the quotation or sales order.

• If a billing plan is subsequently maintained for the WBS element, the system updates the values from the billing plan. The values from the quotation and sales order are reset.

• If you then delete the billing plan, the system updates the planned revenues from the quotation or sales order. The planned payments are not updated until you change the SD document.

Further notes

The system does not update the values from the SD document to the relevant WBS element unless you have activated the order value update in Customizing.
