EnjoySAP - Project Planning Board
Scope of Functions
As part of Enjoy, the project planning board has been fundamentally revised so that it is even more user-friendly.
The following improvements are particularly important:
- Based on your personal requirements, you can now configure the layout of the planning board user-specifically.
- The processing speed has been increased by reducing the number of dialog boxes.
- Easy to use features (Drag and Drop/Cut and Paste) and an improved context menu optimize using the menu.
- By simply defining an individual worklist you can further accelerate how you work with the planning board.
On a more detailled level, the project planning board offers the following functional changes and enhancements in Release 4.6A:
New initial screen (worklist/preview of last project)
When you start the planning board, a preview of the last project you edited appears. A user-specific
worklist is now to the left of the Gantt chart. Here you can store your user-specific data. You can see a preview of more objects in the worklist or select projects from the worklist with a mouse click.
Templates
Individual templatessimplify creating new objects. After you
have chosen the corresponding pushbutton, a window appears on the left-hand side of the screen, in which
various objects are available for creating new objects. Examples of such templates are existing projects, standard templates and simulations.
Maintenance orders chart
As well as the existing charts (capacity, costs/revenues, and component overviews) an order overview (mintenance orders in subnetworks) is now available.
Confirmation directly from the project planning board
It is now possible to confirm activities from the planning board.
Printing charts / print box
By choosing Project -> Print -> All, you can now print all charts in a general overview. You can also add additional information on an individual basis in a print box, which is integrated in the print-out
Structure tree for highlighting objects
You can now highlight selected objects, characteristics, and assignments in the Gantt ichart. By selecting
the required object in a separat window, the corresponding objects are highlighted in color in the Gantt chart.
Improvements to the user interface in the planning board assistant
As well as the existing client-dependent options it is now possible to make user-specific settings for patterns, the logo, line widths and 3-D effects.
User-specific setting for logs
The logs, for example for costing and scheduling, are now intergrated in the lower screen area. It is possible to switch between logs.
Modifiable fields in table area
You can now change several the values of several fields for the more important project objects directly in the table area. These fields include:
- Name
- Description
- Basic dates
- Forecast dates
- Actual dates
- Business area
- Profit center
- Long text
New toolbar
From the enhanced toolbar you can execute following functions:
- Filtering
- Sorting
- Grouping
- Field selection
- Time axis editing
- Options
- Highlighting
- Planning board assistant
Undo
You can cancel all graphic functions in the Gantt chart with Undo.
Automatically creating relationships
You can connect selected activities with FS realtionships according to the order of the activities in the table area.
Zoom in/out
Corresponding pushbuttons in the enhances toolbat make it possible to enlarge or reduce the size of the objects displayed in the graphic area.
Other changes to the user interface
By choosing Project -> Other project, you can call up another project directly.
