Work Breakdown Structure

Scope of Functions

The following changes and enhancements have been made to the work breakdown structure (WBS) for Release 4.6A:

• Partner Functions and Schemas
  

You can now define partner functions and schemas for your project. The master data transactions include a separate tab page where you can process the partner functions.

You define the partner functions in customizing and store them in the project profile.

• Project Organization for WBS Element
  

You can now define a project organization for each WBS element. You can then assign the human resources involved in the relevant work package to this organization. Once you have done this, the system defaults the human resources in the project view Work Apportionment to Human Resources where you can assign them to activities.

• Organization -> Assignments
  

The tab page previously called Organization is now called Assignments.

• Delete

Effects on Customizing

You must define the appropriate partner functions in customizing. You can also assign the partner functions to keys dependent on the logon language, and can define partner schemas and assign them to partner functions. See Define Partner Schemas and Functions.
