Improvements to Activity Confirmation

Scope of Functions

In Release 4.6A the following functions have been added to confirmations in the Project System:

• Confirmation in Maintenance Transctions for Networks and Projects

You can now confirm activities directly in network maintenance, the project planning board, and in the Project Builder, which is new in Release 4.6A.

• Confirmation of Activity Elements

You now only have to enter the element number, if you want to confirm an activity element. You no longer have to enter the number of the superior activity.

• Two Decimal Places for Actual Work

You can now enter the actual work with two decimal places instead of one previously.

• No Update of Actual Dates in the Activity

There is now a new indicator Do not update dates on the confirmation screen, which you use to stipulate that the dates in the activity are not updated from the confirmation.

You can store this indicator as a default in Customizing for the Project System under Confirmation in the confirmation parameters for each plant and network type, or set it yourself in the confirmation.
