Supply of External Data to the Substitutions Infotype (2003)

Use

A new, standardized interface (BAPI) is available from this release. You can use it to supply Time Management with data on individual employees' operative planned working times. The data is recorded in an external customer-specific application and transferred to the interface tables PTEX2003GEN and PTEX2003SPEC using method InsertWithCostAssignment of business object PTMgrExtWorkSched.

Report RPTEXTPT (Transfer External Data → Human Resources) imports the operative planned working times from the interface tables toTime Management as data for the Substitutions infotype (2003).

Schedule report RPTEXTPT periodically as a background job.

Effects on Customizing

You must maintain the ALE distribution model before the system can call the interface. Refer to: Transfer of Operative Planned Working Times to the HR System.

Further Information

The supply of external data to the Substitutions infotype (2003) takes place in the same way as the supply of external data to the Attendances (2002), Absences (2001), and Employee Remuneration Information (2010) infotypes. For more information, refer to the business object PTManagerExtAttAbs and business object PTMgrExtRemunSpec.
