HCM_LOC_CI_17: Supplementary Pension Funds for Italy (New)

Use

As of SAP Enhancement Package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0 you can use this function to meet legal and general business requirements regarding supplementary pension funds in Italy.

This function is an enhancement of the supplementary pension funds management, more specifically of the severance pay management ("Trattamento di Fine Rapporto" - TFR). The enhancement comprises the following items:

  • Enables standard retrocalculation for the involved wage types, by means of changes in the payroll function.
  • Improves the master data entry and management, by means of a new subtype in the Supplementary Pension Funds (0548) infotype.
  • Enhances the TFR management for those employees whose TFR choice is "consent by silence".

Effects on Existing Data

  • The Payroll accounting program - Italy (RPCALCI0) has been enhanced to improve TFR management in general and to provide standard retrocalculation for TFR. These changes have been performed to the payroll function, and the user interface of the report remains unchanged.
  • A new subtype has been created for the Supplementary Pension Funds (0548) infotype. It is called New TFR management(subtype 0003).

Effects on Data Transfer

The new subtype which has been created for the Supplementary Pension Funds (0548) infotype (subtype 0003) combines information from the preexisting subtypes 0001 and 0002, and adds new information.

When you create a record in the employee's infotype 0548 by selecting subtype 0003, if any information already exists in subtypes 0001 and 0002, it is copied automatically to subtype 0003 and displayed on the screen.
