Creating a payroll journal for a specific period.

Scope of Functions

Previously, you could only display payroll results in the payroll journall for one payroll period or for a special payroll run. Now you can also display all the payroll results in a list for a specified period. The results are listed consecutively, for each employee, in accordance with the in-period view. The following new functions enable you to:

• list and add payroll reuslts over several payroll periods;

• display payroll areas with different period parameters in a list.

This means that, for a valuation period, payroll areas may be assigned to various time periods (for example, monthly or weekly);

• display and add normal, period-related payroll results and special runs in a list;

• select payroll results according to payment date, period-end date or the payroll run date.

Furthermore, you can create the payroll journal for a single payroll result.

Effects on Customizing

If you run the report RPCLJNA0 (Payroll journal (Austria)) for a period and not for a single payroll period, you must use the new version of the payroll journal form. Note that there is no point in adding cumulated tables (for example, CRT) in this case.

You can check your old forms with the HR Form editor.
