Public Sector Leave Management Leave Administration

Description

AU HRMS Public Sector now supports the Leave Management Leave
Administration Module. This development is specially designed to cater
for the Australian Government.

Leave Administration provides front end screen entry options as
additional information is needed for the processing and caculation of
leave quota and entitlement. There are limitations as to what infotype
2001 can capture.

Essentially, Leave Administration provides:
o Front End screen entry options
Capture additional information at front end for leave processing.
New fields are required at the front end, to capture information
like conversion of leave from full pay to half pay etc.
o Popup screen for alternative deduction
Give user the flexibility of selecting another alternative if the
quota is not enough for the duration of leave taken.
o Anticipation of leave
Enable user to anticipate leave from next year even though the
entitlement for next year has not been generated yet.
o Half pay / Full pay issues
Employee is given the flexibility of extending their leave by
converting their full pay leave into half pay leave.
( Note : 1 full pay leave = 2 half pay leave )
o On-line correction and deduction for leave in the future
o On-line correction and deduction for leave in the past
If leave is being inserted into the past or future, the quota amount
must be updated right up to the the point of insertion. And if LWOP
is inserted, all leave has to be checked against the threshold value
from the beginning of the anniversary year.
o Retro Payment in the case of LWOP in the past.

Leave Administration ->
Define Nature of Leave
Create Master Leave Code & its Characteristics
Define PS Specific Characteristic for Absence Types
Map Master Leave Code to Leave Type in T554S
Define Parallel Deduction Sequence of Quota Types
