Statements (Without SAPscript)
Use
In releases 4.6C and 4.6B, system R/3 had both “old” statements and “new” statements with SAPscript. Both functions were maintained for this transition. For the R/3 Enterprise release, the “old” statements were removed both from all nodes of the SAP Easy Access menu and from the IMG. Compared to the “old” statements, the Statements (with SAPscript) has improved user-friendliness and an improved range of functions, and the appearance of the statements has also improved. In addition, an undesirable duplicate function is avoided in the new R/3 Enterprise release.
It is up to you whether you wish to continue using the old statements: The old transactions PM10, PM11, PM12, and PM13 are kept for the present and will continue to function. However, note that the related reports SAPMP53B, RPBE00D0, and RPBESH00 are no longer maintained. In particular, this means that no statutory changes in the future will be implemented, and any functional errors will not be repaired.
Effects on Existing Data
The standard forms of form class BEXX (BE03, BE05, BE06, BE07, BE08, BE09, BE10, BE11, BE16, BE17, BE18, BE19, BE20, BE25, BE30, BE31, BE32, BE33, BE34, BE35, BE36 BE37, BE40, BE41, BE42, BE43, BE4C, BE4E, BE4F) have been deleted, and they will not be supplied with R/3 Enterprise.
If you have developed your own forms (using the form editor), you can continue using these as before. Statements that you created and which are stored in the Q0 cluster are still accessible. Note that you can use a Conversion Report to easily transfer existing coding for statements in the “old” statements into the “new” statements by means of SAPscript.
Effects on Customizing
As the “old” statements have been completely removed from IMG, these former IMG activities now have to be performed using transaction SM30 and the corresponding views:
- Assign first signatory: V_513A_B
- Assign second signatory: V_513A_D
- Modify control parameters: V_T704
- Copy forms: report RPUFRM00
- Forms can be edited using transaction PE51 (form editor)
Documentation for old statements no longer exists.
