Payroll Hong Kong : Localization for General Ledger Accounting (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0 (SAP_HRCHK 600), you can activate the Payroll Hong Kong localization of the international Human Resources (HR) solution for General Ledger Accounting (new).

Note

The use of new General Ledger Accounting is optional. If you decide to use new General Ledger Accounting, we recommend that you activate new General Ledger Accounting at the start of the financial year.

If you activate new General Ledger Accounting, you cannot go back to using classic General Ledger Accounting.

The Cost Distribution of Liabilities (XLIDI) payroll function performs one of the following actions during a payroll run:

• Create LIDI cluster table

• Create LIFL cluster table

• Create both LIDI and LIFL cluster tables

• Does not create any cluster table

You make HR-specific settings for General Ledger Accounting (new) in Customizing for Payroll Hong Kong under --> Reporting for Posting Payroll Results to Accounting -> New General Ledger: Distribution of Liabilities According to Expenses
