Changes to Infotype 0002 (Personal Data)
Scope of Functions
Description
New field created in Infotype 0002 (Personal Data).
Several other fields have been renamed.
New field: Middle name [MIDNM]
Changed fields:
- 'Second title' (MBA, Ph.D, etc.) changed to 'Designation'
- 'Other title' (Sr., Jr., III, etc.) changed to 'Suffix'
- 'No. child.' changed to 'Dependents'
Effects on Customizing
Dependent functions
It will be necessary for all employers who currently store the middle name in some other fashion to remove the middle names from the field in which they are presently stored, and assign them to the MIDNM field. This will require customers to write their own conversion program.
