Payroll Account Transfer with Data Transfer Workbench

Scope of Functions

The transfer of payroll results using the data transfer workbench is now supported by the SAP System. The link is established using the BAPI BUS7023.InsertLegacy and replaces the RPULKT00 program for transferring legacy data to the interface table T558A. From now on, tables T558B and T558D are used as interface tables.

As was previously the case, the second step in data transfer is starting the payroll run using the schema XLK0. This schema now contains the PGM TRN function instead of the PGM ABR function, which was still used in some country versions. Using the PGM TRN function, all payroll results that appear in table T558B can be transferred at once. In order to import wage types from table T558A instead of T558D, the TRANS function was changed to the function TRANS 558D.

Initially, the old method of legacy data transfer using the RPULKT00 program and T558A is still supported.
