Process Model for Mass Off-Cycle Payments

Scope of Functions

If you want to create supplementary off-cycle payments - for example, bonus payments for numerous employees - you edit the Additional Payments Off-Cycle infotype (0267) by batch input and then start the payroll driver.

From Release 4.6B, you can use a process model to run payroll solely for the personnel numbers affected by the mass off-cycle payments. In the HR Process Workbench, you use the corresponding process model to create a process that you then run. On the payroll driver selection screen, you enter, as previously, the off-cycle reason, the payroll identifier and the payment date. The process model selection program ensures that only the employees who are to receive the additional payment with the specified attributes are processed.

A model process model is contained in the standard system.

Previously, you either had to enter every personnel number on the selection screen of the payroll driver, or process a whole payroll area. By processing a whole payroll area, you created payroll results even for employees who did not receive an additional payment.
