Search for Issues with Enterprise Search (New)

Use

As of SAP Quality Issue Management (SAP QIM) 1.0 SP02, it is possible to make QIM issues, defects, causes, effects, and their attachments available in the Enterprise Search component of SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP, the Embedded Search. This means that you can search across all structured data of the objects listed above in the system in which you are running SAP QIM. Note, however, that a search across long texts is only possible using the advanced search. For more information, see SAP Library for SAP QIM.

The QIM home page was enhanced by the inclusion of a new CHIP for the search. If you have already made personalization settings, you must reset these to the default using the respective pushbutton.

Effects on Customizing

Make the settings in Customizing for QIM under Configure Search.
