QM: Converting the Archives for the Quality Inspection Data (from Release 2.2 to Release 3.0)

Description

In view of the changes made to the status management function for inspection lots in Release 3.0, you must also convert the archives for the quality inspection transaction data, if the data was created before Release 3.0. Since the system can no longer evaluate the archives in the old format using the logical database PGQ, it is recommended that you carry out the conversion.

You can carry out the conversion with the help of report RQRQAX00.

For general information on the archiving function, refer to the Win-Help documentation via the menu path Help -> R/3 Library -> Basis Components -> System administration -> Application data archiving.

To call up the archiving function, select Tools -> Administration -> Administration -> Archiving.

For performance reasons, you should carry out the conversion of the archives as a background job using a corresponding report variant.
