QM: Mandatory Comment for Usage Decision
Description
Comments for the usage decision can be stored as long texts.
As a new feature of Release 3.0, the
system automatically branches to the long-text editor under certain conditions when the usage decision is saved. This is only the case if the material requires documentation.
The user is prompted to enter a text (mandatory comment) if:
- the usage decision deviates from the expected decision
- the inspection is aborted
The usage decision is said to deviate from the expected decision if
- the lot was rejected although none of the characteristics was rejected
- the lot was accepted although at least one of the characteristics was rejected
An inspection is cancelledif it is closed while the characteristics are still open.
