QM: Data for Last Inspection Point/All Inspection Points on Certificate

Description

As of Release 4.5A, you can specify whether the system should only read the data for the last inspection point (as in previous releases) or whether it should consider all inspection-point data. You make the necessary settings in Customizing for the origin of characteristic values. The new indicator applies to the level of summarized results and original values.

In this way, you can include characteristics in the certificate profile that are assigned to the last inspection point, as well as characteristics whose data originates from all inspection points. (You achieve this by creating a new origin and setting the new indicator for the origin).

If you set this indicator, the system calculates the mean value for all inspection points in the inspection lot (even if you are processing partial lots). This means that if you have different batches for different partial lots, the printed value will consist of values obtained from different batches. This also applies to the printed set of original values, since they can originate from different batches.
