OPS_QM_EXTENSIONS: Principle of Dual Control in Results Recording (New)

Use

As of SAP ECC 6.0, Enterprise Extension PLM, Enhancement Package 3 (EA-PLM 603), Business Function Quality Management Extensions (OPS_QM_EXTENSIONS), you can use the principle of dual control in results recording.

You can use this to set that a result recorded in SAP ERP must be closed by a different user. This means that at least two different people have to check the data.

You can activate this function using a Business Add-In (BAdI), which offers the following functions:

• Creation and evaluation of results for an inspection characteristic must be done by different users.

• Option of forcing the closure of a characteristic.

Activate the function using the Business Add-In, BADI_QEEM_CLOSE_CHARACTERISTIC.

Calculated characteristics and inspection lots with inspection points or samples are not taken into account in the example implementation.
