IMG Structure Changes for Quality Management and the QI Role

Use

As of SAP ECC Enterprise Extension PLM 7.0 (EA-PLM 700), the structure of the Implementation Guide (IMG) for the Quality Inspector role has changed. To adopt changes in the project IMGs, you must regenerate the project IMGs.

Component: Quality Management (QM)

Reassigned IMG Activities

The following BAdIs were deleted and assigned to the new structure mode Quality Controlunder Quality Management -> Environment -> Tools -> Business Add-Ins -> Quality Inspection:

• BAdI: Data Summarization when Evaluating Original Documents (reassigned)

• BAdI: Definition of Views for Evaluations of Original Documents (reassigned)

New IMG Activities

Under Quality Management -> Quality Planning

• Structure and IMG Activities Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) (new)

Under Quality Management -> Environment -> Tools -> Business Add-Ins -> Quality Control

• BAdI: Thin Out List from Batch Where-Used List (new)

• BAdI: Process Data Nodes When Evaluating Original Documents (new)

Under Integration with Other SAP Components -> Business Packages/Functional Packages -> Quality Inspector -> Business Add-Ins:

• BAdI: Technical Call of Application from Portal (new)

• BAdI: Automatic Upload of Results in Results Recording (new)

• BAdI: Extend Results Recording in Web Application (new)

Component: Integration with Other SAP Components

Renamed IMG Activities

Under Business Packages / Functional Packages -> Quality Inspector -> Reporting -> Compile Report List the Set Up LaunchPad for Quality Inspectorwas renamed.

Changed IMG Activities

A new transaction was assigned under Business Packages / Functional Packages -> Quality Inspector -> Reporting -> Compile Report List. If you want to transfer the configuration of your previous LaunchPad to the new LaunchPad, then you must run program APB_LPD_LPA_CUST_TO_LPD_CUST (with Role = QI and Instance = REP).

Deleted IMG Activities

Under Business Packages / Functional Packages -> Quality Inspector -> Reporting
