Participation ID and Rental Units with Usage Types Not for Settlement

Scope of Functions

When rental units and assigned to the participation ID, the usage type is check.

You use the normal procedure in Customizing

Service Charge Settlement -> Make Basic Settings -> External Usage Types - Participation in Service Charge Settlement

to detemine if a rental unit participates in the service charge settlement based on its usage type.

However, if you try to assign a rental unit to the participation ID although the usage type does not participate in the service charge settlement, an error message is issued. In this case you have to delete the rental unit from the participation ID or assign the attribute "SCS participation" to the usage type in Customizing.
