RE_MOBILE_BROKER_1: Real Estate Broker Mobile App

Use

The business function Real Estate Broker Mobile App (RE_BROKER_MOBILE_1) is available as of the following support packages:

  • SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 (EA-APPL 617), Support Package 04
  • SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 (EA-APPL 606), Support Package 11
  • SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0, version for SAP HANA (EA-APPL 616), Support Package 06
  • financials add-on for SAP Business Suite powered by SAP HANA 1.0, Support Package 01

You can use this business function to implement the SAP back-end changes required to support the SAP Real Estate Broker mobile app.

The SAP Real Estate Broker mobile app uses many existing functions within the SAP Real Estate Management application, and includes some additional features to support mobile app functions. Additional functions include management of property (rental object) thumbnail data and images, management of search criteria, and user authorizations.

Effects on Existing Data

Existing real estate master data in the SAP back end remains largely unchanged; the SAP Real Estate Brokermobile app retrieves this master data from the SAP back end and displays it as required in the mobile app.

Note the following:

  • Properties
  • All property data in the mobile app is derived from rental object master data in the SAP back end.

  • Within the mobile app, each property is described by a property thumbnail, and property details.

  • Three types of image can now be saved for a rental object (floorplan, gallery, thumbnail images). This is enabled by the inclusion of three additional global document types.

  • Developments.
  • All property development data in the mobile app is derived from business entity master data in the SAP back end.

  • Reservations
  • Contract offers (reservations) in the mobile app are derived from contract types defined in the SAP back end.

  • Search types
  • Property search criteria in the mobile app are derived from RE search request types in the SAP back end.

  • Clients
  • All client data in the mobile app is derived from business partner master data in the SAP back end.

  • If a user creates a client in the mobile app, this is saved as a business partner master record in the SAP back end. Company code details that are associated with the user are automatically saved with the business partner master record.

  • Visits
  • Mobile app users can record property visits made by clients. The system automatically saves property visits in the Visit History (REMOB_T_LOG) table in the SAP back end. Visit data is used to display a visit history for a client in the mobile app.

  • Activities
  • Mobile app users can manage their daily business activities. The system automatically saves the data in the Activity related Rental Object (REMOB_T_ACT_RO) and Activity History master data (REMOB_T_ACTIVITY) tables in the SAP back end.
