Backwards Delivery Scheduling Only

Description

When you change a sales document (for example, by adding schedule lines), the system schedules deliveries for all schedule lines, new and old. In the case of backlog schedule lines, the system carries out forward scheduling since the material availability date lies in the past. This means that schedule lines that may have already been confirmed are rescheduled.

With the new release, you can configure the system to carry out backward delivery scheduling only so that backlog schedule lines are not changed.

Effects on Customizing

There is a new Backward only indicator in Customizing for delivery scheduling (choose Basic Functions - Delivery Scheduling and Transportation Scheduling - Define scheduling by sales document type). Set this indicator to deactivate forward scheduling.
