New Rebate Procedure

Scope of Functions

The sales revenue of earlier billing documents is taken into consideration for subsequent agreements.

Up until Release 4.6A, this was done by a subsequent simulation with restricted pricing functionality.

In the new release in 4.6A all of the old billing documents are actually changed. A new pricing is carried out (pricing type I: changes only to rebate conditions and accruals, no change to net price!).

The new procedure offers the following new pricing functions for rebate processing:

  • Condition exclusion (use of condition exclsuion indicator for condition type)
  • Use of condition value formulas
  • Use of condition basis formulas
  • Exclusive condition access in the access sequence

Procedure:

  • Activate the new rebate procedure in Customizing for rebate processing (selection of synchronized updating for the statistical structure S136 with the transaction OMO1 in Customizing).
  • Reorganization of statistical structure S136 in Customizing for rebate processing with the transaction OLI9 in Customizing.
  • Updating billing documents with the transaction VBOF (Report SDBONT06) in the rebate processing menu. Choose a suitable time for the update (for example, after creation of new rebate agreements or changing old ones).

Schedule for updating billing documents

The program SDBONT06 determines - depending on the selection - an amount of billing documents and implements new pricing for these with pricing type I.

You can find further information on updating billing documents in the report documentation for report SDBONT06.
