Improved functions for proposing/calculating the cumulative received quantity
Scope of Functions
Up to now, the system automatically proposed a cumulative received quantity when certain data was missing in an IDoc. Depending on the type of processing, this was the current cumulative quantity, the last delivery, the last consignment issue number, or the last pick-up sheet number.
As of Release 4.6A, this proposal function is no longer automatic. For the system to propose a cumulative quantity, you must now choose the new Propose CRQ button in the delivery schedule overview screen. The system then proposes a cumulative received quantity based on the cumulative issued quantity (or as the case may be, the cumulative quantity issued by the external agent), as well as additional data including cumulative quantity corrections, and transport and shipping dates.
You can review this cumulative quantity in the new Calculated cum. rec. qty field on the Received tab page in the delivery schedule header. When you select the Propose CRQ button, the system copies this cumulative quantity to the Cumulative received quantity field on the delivery schedule overview.
Note that when there is a quantity in the Cumulative received quantity field, the button is deactivated. This is to ensure that the system does not overwrite a manual entry.
