Retaining Price Changes in the Rules-Based ATP Check (New)
Use
You can use the global availability check (global ATP) of SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (SAP APO) to run availability checks for sales order items in SAP ERP. The global availability check also provides a rules-based availability check. If there is a lack of availability, the rules-based availability check can substitute locations and/or products, and create subitems for the substitutions. If you run a rules-based ATP check for the item again in SAP APO at a later point in time, SAP APO deletes the open subitems and creates new subitems depending on the availability situation. In the standard ERP configuration, when the subitems are deleted any manual changes that you made to the subitems in ERP since the last rules-based availability check (such as changes to the price or other business data) are also deleted.
The following enhancements now allow you to retain the changed prices:
- There is a new main item type and a new subitem type for sales orders and returns. In the sales order, you maintain the price data at main item level.
- Two new data transfer routines allow data to be transferred from the sales order to the delivery and from the delivery to the billing document.
The enhancements are available as of
- SAP ERP 6.0, Support Package 22
- SAP enhancement package 2 for SAP ERP 6.0, support package 12
- SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0, support package 11
- SAP enhancement package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0, support package 12
- SAP enhancement package 5 for SAP ERP 6.0, support package 9
- SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0, support package 4
