LOG_SD_FICA_DISTRIBUTED: SD/FI-CA Integration with Distributed Systems

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0, business function SD/FI-CA Integration with Distributed Systems (LOG_SD_FICA_DISTRIBUTED) is available. You can use this business function to integrate Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) and Sales and Distribution (SD) even if you use each component in separate systems.

In a distributed scenario, you create the SD order and the SD billing document in the SD system. However, you post the accounting document in Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable in the FI-CA system. Sales and Distribution transfers the information using an IDoc to Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable.

If you reverse an SD billing document, the SD also sends an IDoc to the FI-CA system.

If you use Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) integrated with Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable, then Sales and Distribution also transfers the corresponding profitability segments to Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable.
