Revaluation of SD Documents (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP_APPL 617), you can revaluate sales documents containing floating commodity prices using the latest available market data. You can also recalculate prices in follow-on documents of sales orders. The revaluation can be a prerequisite for up-to-date exposure reporting and mark-to-market reporting. Document revaluation is executed with the new transaction CMM_LREV.

Effects on Existing Data

Document revaluation triggers a re-pricing of sales orders using current market data.

Effects on Data Transfer

Effects on System Administration

You use the initial load report CMM_LREV_INITto index sales contracts and sales orders as relevant for document revaluation. These documents can then be revaluated using transaction CMM_LREV.

Effects on Customizing

You make settings for this function in Customizing for Logistics - General, under Commodity Management -> Revaluation of Logistics Documents.
