Configurable User Interface for Pricing (New)

Use

As of SAP enhancement package 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 (SAP_APPL 617), you can configure the user interface of pricing data in selected business documents.

The configurable user interface for pricing is available for the following documents:

SD documents:

  • Inquiry
  • Quotation
  • Sales contract
  • Sales order
  • Invoice
  • Provisional / Differential Invoice
  • Final Invoice
  • Accrual Document

MM documents:

  • Purchase order
  • Goods receipt via purchase order history (display only)
  • Invoice
  • Accrual Document

GTM documents:

  • Trading contract
  • Precontract

The Configurable User Interface for Pricingis available at the point where the classical document condition screen for items is available (SAPGUI based technology: SAPLV69A 6201). It provides the following functions in the documents mentioned above:

  • Select several views of pricing data, predefined by SAP within a list box:
  • Pricing Elements: Table: View that corresponds to the classical document condition screen in table format.

  • Pricing Elements: Tree: View that displays details of complex condition data, especially designed for document conditions that include data from commodity pricing engine (CPE) formulas or configurable parameters and formulas (CPF) formulas.

  • CPE Formulas and Terms: Fast entry view to handle multiple CPE condition types.

  • Define additional partner-specific or customer-specific pricing views in Customizing.
  • Override the predefined pricing view names.
  • Define a profile for the Configurable User Interface for Pricingwith the following features:
  • Assign the views that you can select for each profile and define the initial pricing view.

  • Determine when the profile is applied based on provided application, pricing procedure, and user role.

  • Define which field configuration is applied.

  • Define the layout of the Pricing Elements: Treeview.

  • Define the field configuration applied to the predefined views Pricing Elements: Treeand CPE Formulas and Terms. Partners and customers can override the default settings of SAP for document conditions that include data from CPE formulas or CPF formulas in the following way:
  • From Optional (Changeable) to Required (Changeable)

  • From Optional (Changeable) to Display Only

  • From Optional (Changeable) to Invisible

  • From Display Only to Invisible

  • From Invisibleto Display Only

  • Define the field configuration that is to be applied to newly created views by partners and customers
  • The layout of the Pricing Elements: Treeview can be configured in the following way:
  • Texts and details of conditions displayed in the navigation pane for each node type

  • Default width of navigation pane

  • Define the delivered detail area that is to be exchanged with a custom detail area

The following business functions are a prerequisite, if condition types that enable calculation through the commodity pricing engine (CPE) are used in the pricing scheme:

  • Logistics, Commodity Pricing Engine in SD and MM(LOG_CPE_SD_MM), is available as of SAP enhancement package 3 for SAP ERP 6.0.
  • CPE: BAdI-Based Formula Handling(LOG_CPE_FA_FE), is available as of SAP enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0.

Effects on Existing Data

The extended user interface and its functions do not change persistent data, but only provide capabilities to represent pricing data differently.

If you activate the business functions LOG_SD_COMMODITY_02 or LOG_MM_COMMODITY_02, the system replaces the classical document condition screen for items by a new screen that has the existing screen embedded in it. This new screen provides the functions in the documents mentioned above.
