Use
As of SAP ECC Enterprise Extension Retail 6.0 (EA-RET 600), Enhancement Package 2005.1 you can make use of the GDS Inbound for mass transfer of article master data from external data pools or bilaterally from the vendor.
The GDS processing provides the following functions:
- Support for the three GDSN messages Subscription, Notification and Confirmation according to the standard of GS1 XML
- Maintenance interface for the management of the Subscription messages
- Rule Engine with which you can define your own rules in order to check and extend message entry
- Functions for the Confirmation Report
- Message mapping for the SAP standard object TradeItemCatalogue
- Facility to enrich specific fields with data that does not originate from the data pool
