Shipping: Transportation processing - Graphical Information System

Description

A graphical information system is available in Release 3.0B for transportation processsing.

You can represent the following information graphically:

  • Itinerary
  • Transportation network

In addition, you can also display the following information on the itinerary or transportation network:

  • What itinerary does a certain delivery have?
  • How many or which shipments/deliveries are sent from one transportation connection point to the next?
  • How many or which deliveries are assigned to a particular shipment?
  • Weight, volume, number of shipping units for a delivery or a shipment
  • Shipping types for a shipment
  • Time data for a shipment
  • Information on transportation connection points

You can call this function from the following positions:

  • in the sales order
  • in the delivery
  • in the shipment

Use the following menu paths when changing or displaying the respective document (also in the shipment when creating):

  • Environment -> Transportation info -> Itinerary
  • Environment -> Transportation info -> Transportat.network
