Enabling parallel processing during IDoc preparation
Processing in IDoc preparation can now be carried out in parallel. This leads to a considerable improvement in performance.
Optional transfer of PLU records in the case of EAN/UPC changes
If a POS system is not able to manage EAN/UPC references, it requires the full "Material master" PLU record in addition to the "EAN references" message, if changes are made to additional EANs/UPCs. You can select whether the system transfers this PLU record.
Conditions at a higher level
The change analysis for conditions has been made more general, so that it is now possible to check the relevance of changes at sales organization or client level only.
Inclusion of generic articles in change pointer analysis
In change pointer analysis, the system now takes account of the fact that a generic material may not be the only pricing reference material for the variants assigned to it, but also that a variant can be a pricing reference material for variants of the same generic material.
Inclusion of plant price lists
If a new price list is defined during store/plant group assignment, the system initializes all materials that are assigned to this material group again for the store in question.
If the price for a material in the plant price list changes, then the system initializes this material for all the stores concerned.
Function exits for change pointer analysis
As some factors specific to the POS system have to be taken into consideration during IDoc preparation, and these factors may also be customer-dependent, function exits are included in the POS interface. Once the system has prepared a record of a segment group, the user has the option of modifying the prepared data.
If you want to transport additional field information to the POS systems, you can use segment E1WXX01 and supply this with data within the relevant function exit. There are further function exits for change pointer analysis that enable POS outbound processing to react to this new field information.
