Changes in SEM-BPS Web Interface Builder

Use

  • MIME objects can now be directly edited from the MIME Repository Browser with external desktop programs. The MIME Repository Browser is started from the transaction BPS_WB using the menu option Goto ->MIME Objects. The prerequisite is that for the respective MIME type (gif, css, jpg, ...) a program for editing is registered in your Windows operating system. This assignment can be set under Windows NT in the system control under View -> Options -> File Types.
  • A template is now ready for Cascading Style Sheets, which can be transferred into the MIME Repository Browser and edited here. As a result it is easier to adapt the look and feel of the generated BSP applications to your individual ideas.
  • It is also possible to generate a quick preview of the BSP application. As a result, a BSP application must not always be generated from the Web interface before its appearance can be checked. The 'quick preview' option can be activated in the menu Goto -> Settings.
  • When generating the BSP application it can be selected whether only the XML Customizing is stored, the BSP application generated, or whether an ABAP-OO class is generated. Thus the activity of generation is accelerated. This is queried in a popup dialog while generating. In the F1 help of the individual options there is also an explanation about which setting makes sense.
