Changes in SEM-CPM in release 3.1A

Use

New Functions

• Risk Management: With the Risk Catalog function, you create risk catalogs in which you group individual risks; in risk design, you model the individual risks and assign them to a target system. In this way, you establish a risk management system based on a target system.

Other New Features and Modifications

• General:

• The SEM menu has been changed: The Corporate Performance Monitor entry was removed; immediately below the entry Strategic Enterprise Management, you now find the two entries Strategy Management and Performance Measurement.

• In addition to BW reports, you can also assign a URL to objects in the Balanced Scorecard, Management Cockpit and Value Driver Tree functions, for example to be able to call up an Internet page from within the application, or to be able to access documents on a server.

• The concept of time variables and CPM variables is now available to all CPM functions (Balanced Scorecard, Management Cockpit, and Value Driver Tree).

• Several style sheets are available for accessing the Balanced Scorecard, Management Cockpit, and Value Driver Tree functions with an HTML browser for presentation purposes.

• Balanced Scorecard function

• Risk Management has been integrated with the Balanced Scorecard function.

• You can organize a large number of scorecards in groups.

• Using mass maintenance, you can change properties of scorecard elements with little effort.

• You can import scorecards in XML format.

• Element assignment in the creation of a scorecard has been improved.

• Management Cockpit function

• You can filter by status in the presentation of a Management Cockpit.

• Drilldown capabilities in the presentation of a Management Cockpit are enhanced and extended.

• With the Management Cockpit Monitor, you can manually buffer data for the cockpit.

• Measure Builder function

• Content (ROI measures) is delivered for the Measure Builder.

• You obtain benchmarks from two benchmark providers.

• You can exchange benchmarks with benchmark providers.

• UMB_BSC_30B_31A (Documentation; Execute Report)

• UMM_30_TO_31_CONVERT (Documentation; Execute Report)
